Food&HotelAsia 2016 (FHA) kicked off yesterday at the Singapore Expo, opening its doors to food and hospitality professionals. From April 12 to 15, over 3,100 exhibitors from 71 different countries and regions will be showcasing their latest products, services and technologies. More than 900 new exhibitors and group pavilions are making their show debut, including Algeria, Hungary, Poland and Morocco. The NZ pavilion hosts 18 Kiwi companies, eager to show buyers and visitors their specialties, ranging from pancakes to hot sauce, butter to scampi.
As part of the event, the first-ever ProWine Asia was also launched, with strong international participation and industry-specific activities. Modelled after the globally recognised ProWein in Dusseldorf, Germany, ProWine Asia’s debut staging will leverage the expertise of its parent show, adding a Southeast Asian flavour to it.
More than 250 established wineries and distributors from 30 countries have joined the trade fair, which presents an ideal gateway for industry players in the region and beyond to network and close fruitful collaborations.
