Lidl US, a leading international grocer, has opened its newest store in Prince George's County, Maryland.
The new location is part of Lidl's growing store network in the Washington metropolitan area. Other nearby Lidl stores in Maryland include Bowie, Lanham, College Park, District Heights, Takoma Park, Wheaton, Columbia, Montgomery Village and more.
David Farhat, Lidl's Senior Director of Real Estate for the South Region, said Lidl was committed to bringing affordable, high-quality food to communities.

He continued that Lidl's and ownership's extensive investment in the shopping centre represents a commitment to providing the community with a best-in-class environment and shopping experience.
This Lidl store will create approximately 40 new jobs. A 2024 Top Employer, Lidl provides comprehensive benefits, including healthcare for all part-time positions, regardless of hours worked per week. Starting pay for all store associates will be US$16 per hour.
As part of its commitment to support the community, Lidl will donate to the Capital Area Food Bank, which aids families in the Washington metro area, including Prince George's and Montgomery counties. Lidl will donate US$1 to the organisation for each shopper who signs up for the myLidl app and sets Hyattsville as their store throughout the opening weekend.

All Lidl flowers are guaranteed to be fresh and beautiful for at least five days, with roses and lilies guaranteed for seven days. And finally, Lidl's fresh bakery will offer bread and pastries baked throughout the day.
