Through a sophisticated manufacturing process developed in collaboration with their supplier, WEPA, Tesco can combine recycled cardboard with other paper sources. These materials are then cleaned and processed into pulp using significantly less water, chemicals, and energy than traditional methods. The resulting unbleached paper maintains its natural beige colour, highlighting its eco-friendly origins.
By offering these environmentally friendly products in their own-brand ranges across Tesco Extra stores, the company is making sustainable options more accessible to consumers.
