INNOVATION ON NUTRACEUTICAL INDUSTRY’S AGENDA

The nutrition industry will be launching a great deal of products this year, a survey for global nutraceutical event Vitafoods Europe 2016 has revealed. Vitafoods is scheduled in Geneva on 10-12 May, and around 92 percent of its exhibitors have said that they would launch at least one product in 2016, 21 percent will introduce 10 or more, and the remaining 19 percent between five and nine.

The trade fair will include two New Products zones, one for ingredients and one for finished products, a Vitafoods LaunchPad for concise presentations from exhibitors, the Springboard Pavilion to engage with start-ups and entrepreneurs, and a new Packaging Innovation Centre.

“Vitafoods Europe 2016 will bring the whole industry together to showcase the latest and most significant new products and services in today’s nutrition market,” said Chris Lee, portfolio director of Vitafoods. “As our research shows, innovation is very high on the agendas of both the companies exhibiting and the industry professionals who will visit.”
