A new case of hepatitis A has been reported in Victoria, Australia after a supermarket worker was found to have contracted the virus. The case involves a FoodWorks store in Yarram, South Gippsland, and the Health Department advised customers to discard any fresh fruit or vegetables they had purchased because it ‘may be contaminated with hepatitis A virus.’
