Pop-Up For Valentine’s Day

Waterloo station

UK | Aldi has come to the rescue this Valentine's Day by debuting its pop-up flower stall at Waterloo Station, catering to busy commuters needing last-minute romantic gestures.

With nearly a quarter (23 percent) of Brits admitting to forgetting Valentine's Day gifts, with millennials emerging as the primary culprits (32 percent), Aldi aims to alleviate the pressure by offering affordable yet exquisite floral arrangements.

Aldi's flower stall boasts a diverse selection, including the wallet-friendly dozen red roses, the most economical option among UK supermarkets. Recognising the plight of procrastinators, Aldi's initiative provides a convenient solution and supports a charitable cause, with all proceeds donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, emphasised the stall's role in assisting time- and budget-strapped customers, ensuring that commuters can arrive home with a perfect bouquet without breaking the bank. Furthermore, for those unable to visit Waterloo Station, Aldi assured that its full range of exquisite bouquets will be readily available in stores, extending the opportunity for romance to all.
