Pup-Favourite Ice Cream Offering For Dogs Returns To UK Supermarket

Dog, Ice Cream

Back by popular demand, Aldi’s Doggy Ice Cream hits stores nationwide on the 8th of August, in time for the warm weather.

Available in two delicious flavours, Pea and Vanilla or Carrot and Apple, dogs across the country will be sending their owners to fetch, as Aldi has announced the return of its sell-out Dog Ice Cream.

Last year, the popular treat sold out in record time, with nearly 30 tubs every minute flying out of the freezer when it launched in June. And now, the supermarket’s popular canine treat is back and promises to get tails wagging when it hits shelves from 8th August.

Priced at just £2.99 (pack of 4, 110ml each), furry friends can get involved in the ice cream action with Doggy Ice Cream, which is 100 percent plant-based and boasts natural fruit and vegetables to offer a nutritious snack whilst keeping pets cool during the warm weather.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said that last year the supermarket became the first UK supermarket to launch a dog-friendly ice cream, which was a massive hit with pet owners.

“We’re delighted to bring back a product that is both nutritious and cooling for dogs, just as the sunshine returns,” said Ashfield.
