Shop! ANZ has inducted eight new directors to its board of ten, following a member-nomination process that allows the association’s members to choose their industry representatives.
Carla Bridge, General Manager of Shop! ANZ congratulated the incoming board of directors on their appointment and thanked the outgoing directors.
“My huge thanks go to our outgoing board members, who have presided over one of the biggest periods of growth in the association’s 30-year history,” she said.
Over the last three years, the outgoing board has provided invaluable advice and strategic vision to Shop! ANZ to strengthen and grow its leadership, support and guidance of the retail marketing industry across Australia and New Zealand, leaving the association in a strong position for the incoming board to build upon.
Bridge looks forward to working with the new Board of Directors to guide the retail marketing industry over the next three years and continue providing new tools, resources, and education in a rapidly changing environment.
Joining the Shop! ANZ board for a two-year term is Natasha Marsh, Senior Instore Marketing Communications, Woolworths; Kate Kletzmayr, Activity Development Lead, Mars Snacking; James Holman, Partner, Fiftyfive5; Peter Tait, COO, Creative Activation; Sam Gilding, Chief Revenue Officer, Vypr; Roxana Randau, Client Services Director, ID POP; Paul Dobbin, Planning Director, Behavioural Commerce, Flywheel (NZ); and Stephanie Chirkoff, Managing Director, eFlare Commerce.
Two members of the previous board who were re-elected included Sarah Katsidis, GM, Premiums & Merchandising, IVE Group; and Angela Craven, Head of Category & Shopper, TipTop Bakeries.
Retiring from the Shop! ANZ board in 2026 will be Andy Kirk, CEO, Crossmark; Georgia Bruton, Chief Marketing Officer, Brown Family Wine Group; Mark Logan, Senior Manager, Instore Marketing, Woolworths; and Jenny Mastroianni, Head of Consumer Insights, SharkNinja; Robin Appel, Managing Partner, D2C, and Gary Head, MD, CartIndexAI.
The new board has selected three office bearers to fill the positions of Chair, Vice Chair and Company Secretary, with Stephanie Chirkoff replacing Andy Kirk as Chairperson; Paul Dobbin taking over from Georgia Bruton as Vice Chair; and Natasha Marsh replacing Gary Head as Company Secretary.
Chirkoff highlighted that the outgoing board, under the leadership of Bridge, has placed Shop! ANZ is in a healthy position for the future, and she looks forward to building on with her fellow incoming board members.
