The Tentamus Group has welcomed Axens and Consoreal as the newest additions to its worldwide network of laboratories.

Axens and Consoreal are French consumer and sensory analysis institutes that support fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies market, evolve, and improve their products and brand labels.

In France, Axens and Consoreal operate advanced facilities in Lille, Douai, Cergy and Valenciennes, respectively, and altogether have almost 50 employees.

Axens’s expertise is centred on food products, while Consoreal is focused on non-food FMCG. Together, the two companies have helped advance the FMCG industry.

“The acquisition of Axens and Consoreal supports and accelerates Tentamus Group’s long-term strategy of offering a broad portfolio of quality control and product development services for FMCG companies and retailers in particular. This move will enable Axens and Consoreal to address their customer’s needs locally and globally,” said Sebastian Rössle, Head of Mergers and Acquisitons at Tentamus Group.

“Axens and Consoreal represent an exceptional opportunity to grow the global network of specialized laboratories,” added Thomas Wolf, Country Manager for France at Tentamus Group. “We believe that strong synergies can be achieved with the view to reinforcing Axens and Consoreal’s reference position on the consumer and sensory analysis market.”
