Violet Crumble Heads To The US

Australia’s Violet Crumble will soon be distributed in the United States. The iconic Aussie treat has been signed to an exclusive distribution deal with British Wholesale Imports Inc to secure retail partners in the US.

BWI started representing the famous chocolate bar in the US this month while the Whitby Company will represent the candy bar in Hawaii.

Violet Crumble, which was sold by Nestle earlier this year, is now manufactured by Australian company Robern Menz at its factory in Adelaide. The acquisition by the family-owned business meant that the famed Australia chocolate bar was finally back to being Australian owned after 30 years of foreign ownership.

“Violet Crumble is an iconic Aussie brand, and we are thrilled to be in a position to manage its expansion into international markets including the US. We were impressed by BWI’s passion for the product, coupled with its longstanding reputation of working closely with companies to nurture and grow candy brands in the US market,” said Phil Sims, CEO, Robern Menz.
