UK | M&S Selby Three Lakes opened its doors on the 28th of November, launching a brand-new 16,000 sq ft store for customers.
Store Manager Amy Johnston, joined by guest of honour Percy Pig, cut the ribbon to declare the store officially open.
Inside the brand-new fresh market-style food hall, customers will find a show-stopping bakery with a selection of fresh breads, including the retailer’s popular Collection Sourdough, each loaf made through a 30-hour process, and pastries baked throughout the day.
The whole of the M&S Food range will be available in-store, with over 100 Remarkable value everyday staples available across the store. These staples are price-bent against critical competitors and have an M&S quality point of difference, which is part of the retailer’s trusted value promise.
Other highlights include a dedicated M&S Wine Shop featuring an award-winning selection of popular favourites in the M&S Classics range, new varieties to discover from unexpected locations in the “Found” range, a Flower Shop and Click and Collect for online Clothing, Home and Beauty orders.
With the festive season just around the corner, M&S Selby Three Lakes shoppers will be able to stock up on the most magical Christmas food line-up, from Halloumi in Blankets with Hot Honey to the build-your-own Charcuter-Tree, along with recently launched Choc Marks bars and Swiss Caramel and Milk Chocolate Clouds.
The store will also showcase the unique Magical Snowing Forest and Santa’s Workshop tins.
“Our whole team has been working hard to deliver this fantastic new M&S Foodhall just in time for Christmas. It’s been great to hear from customers how much they love it today,” said Amy Johnston, Store Manager at M&S Selby Three Lakes.
“When you visit the store, you’ll find a spacious design across our Foodhall with great features like our fantastic M&S Bakery, M&S Wine Shop and our digital Click & Collect service, all designed to make shopping with us more enjoyable and convenient than ever. We encourage people to come and see for themselves how fantastic the new store is.”
M&S has invested £4m in the opening, building on a £20m investment in its stores across Yorkshire last year. The new store will create 79 new local jobs in the community.
