AUSTRALIA | Iconic global cheese brand The Laughing Cow has teamed up with leading Kiwi bagel producer Abe’s Bagels.
The two brands have launched a competition across Australia and New Zealand to find the most creative ways to combine the two products in unique and inspiring recipes.
Running for a month until the 3rd of March, consumers have been invited to get their thinking caps on and develop innovative combos showcasing The Laughing Cow cheese on Abe’s Bagel.
Participants can create any mix if the final offering is fun, tasty and uses only three additional ingredients. They are also encouraged to give their creations a snappy name, photograph them, and submit them by sending a direct message on Instagram.
The winning entry will score AUD 2,000 in cash and have their recipe showcased on “International Day of Happiness” on Thursday, the 20th of March when 100 tasty offerings will be offered free at a popular Sydney café.
“The campaign is designed to bring together one of the world’s most popular spreadable cheeses with the fastest-growing bagel brand in town to encourage foodies to display their creativity,” said a spokesperson for The Laughing Cow.
“There are so many ways to enjoy the laughing cow - by itself, as a spread or as a topping. This is the perfect way to show the versatility of our cheese.”
Well-known cook, author, former MasterChef Australia contestant and television presenter Justine Schofield will act as the face of the campaign by posting her bagel recipe and participating in the judging panel.
