Monster Energy Drink has launched the first 100 percent vegan energy drink called Java Monster Farmer's Oats.
The beverage giant's newest addition to its coffee-infused line is said to be primarily made from oat milk, coffee and the brand's signature blend of energy-boosting ingredients including taurine, ginseng and guarana. The beverage comes in 15oz (425g) cans and packed with 200mg of caffeine and 150 calories.
In celebration of the release, Monster is set to throw a launch party in Los Angeles in collaboration with various plant-based food pairings from local vegan restaurants.
"The sheer amount of vegan alternatives available in 2019 allows for both passionate vegans and flexitarian consumers to eat and drink together like never before," said Geoff Kutnick, CEO of FOODBEAST.com and co-host of the brand's launch party. "Farmer's Oats entrance into the marketplace couldn't come at a better time."
