OPPOSITION magazine publishers Mediaweb have received yet another setback to a possible sale of FMCG and Hospitality magazines with the leaked email to Stoppress from receiver’s to potential purchasers advising of serious financial discrepancies.
The receivers are of the opinion that there has been misleading information provided by the owners of Mediaweb including the use of false or misleading invoices. The company has now been placed in liquidation. Mediaweb directors Toni Myers and John Clark have been unavailable for comment.
