BABY WEASEL FOUND IN A SALAD IN UK

The mangled remains of a dead baby weasel were found in a carrot and sweetcorn salad from an Asda store in Bradford, UK. The gruesome discovery left a British woman, Rifat Asghar, 42, completely shocked. She initially thought it was a mouse, only to find out one week later that the remains belonged to a baby weasel, as a lab test revealed.
“It has caused me a lot of trauma,” she told newspapers. “They say it was in there from when it was harvested. What happened to all the checks done after that happened?”.
She later took the salad back and was offered vouchers. Asda apologised for the incident, reassuring their customers that all fresh produce was submitted to quality control tests.
“We work hard to make sure our products are in the best possible condition for our customers to enjoy, so we’re very sorry that on this occasion we let Ms Asghar down,” a spokeswoman said.
