Plant-based brand Beyond Meat has announced its first production plant outside of the US. Thanks to its partnership with Zandbergen, the company will begin making its products in the Netherlands.
The company made the call to construct a new facility due to the growing demand for Beyond Meat products in Europe. Beyond Meat recently expanded its European distribution, being stocked in Albert Heijn in the Netherlands, Tesco in the UK and Delhaize in Belgium.
