Connecting Kiwis to the World’s Best Coffee-Growing Regions

As New Zealanders become increasingly adventurous in their coffee choices, those looking for new flavours to explore can now discover the tastes of the world’s best coffee-growing regions with Nescafé Farmers Origins; a new premium coffee capsule range.

Kiwis will become one of the first in the world to try the five delicious single-origin coffees and blends in the Nescafé Farmers Origins range; each made with high-quality Arabica and Robusta beans and designed for Nespresso machines.

From a ristretto blend sourced from the birthplace of coffee – Ethiopia and Uganda – to an espresso produced in the Southern Highlands of India, each coffee offers a distinct flavour profile and origin story.

Nescafé Farmers Origins coffee beans are sustainably sourced from farming communities in some of the world’s finest coffee-growing countries. A QR code on the pack tells the story behind the bean, sharing how each region and coffee farm is supported by Nescafé’s commitment to sustainable coffee production, which aims to improve farmer incomes and the lives of those living in farming communities.

Ensuring sustainability and quality from bean to cup, the coffee is encapsulated in hermetically-sealed Nespresso aluminium, an infinitely recyclable material used to maintain coffee freshness and known for its low impact on the planet. Capsules are recyclable via Nespresso boutiques and florist collection points nationwide.

The launch of Nescafé Farmers Origins is a first for Nescafé, building on its long heritage of global popularity and Nespresso’s coffee expertise, and offers New Zealand coffee lovers an even more diverse choice of quality at-home coffee options.

“We’re excited to give Kiwis the chance to experience the unique tastes of new Nescafé Farmers Origins range, which highlight distinct coffee bean flavour profiles from around the world. No matter how you like to enjoy your coffee at home, these premium coffee capsules will ensure a high quality, great tasting, sustainable option to choose from," said Nestlé New Zealand Head of Marketing, Fraser Shrimpton.

The Nescafé Farmers Origins range hits shelves this week and is available in-store and online in New World & Pak’nSave North Island stores and Countdown nationwide.
