Dunk it for Plunket

Consumers have the chance to make their morning tea break count this September (1st – 30th) when Dunk it for Plunket, an initiative run in association with Arnott’s, returns.

Run nationwide, the Dunk it for Plunket campaign asks New Zealanders – individuals, workplaces, friends and whānau groups – to register to host a morning tea. Guests can make a cash donation while enjoying a cuppa and bite to eat knowing the funds raised will help Plunket continue to provide critical services to families.

“Plunket has shaped the lives of many Kiwis and we’re so proud to harness the power of a cuppa and biscuit to support the incredible work the organisation does right around the country," said Michelle Kitchen, Brand Manager at Arnott’s.

“We know many lifelong friendships have been formed through Plunket coffee groups, antenatal groups, and pre-school groups – many of which would have started with a simple hot drink and bikkie.

“We hope people feel inspired to host a morning tea to help Plunket continue carrying out the incredible work it does across Aotearoa.”

“Whānau Āwhina Plunket is a charity and this type of partnership helps provide vital services for the health and wellbeing of tamaraki and their whānau," said Kevin Broome, Head of Funding, Partnerships and Brand at Plunket.

“Working with a brand like Arnott’s – which is so synonymous with families, connection and creating moments together – aligns with Whānau Āwhina Plunket’s aim to create connection between whānau and communities.”

To sweeten the deal, Arnott’s will gift all those who sign up to host a Dunk it for Plunket morning tea with a free host kit that includes a starter-pack of biscuits for their guests to enjoy.
