In efforts to reinforce its commitment to promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for customers, Swedish furniture giant IKEA unveiled its newest ‘meat-free’ Christmas dinner.

The menu features classic British favourites including vegetarian Brie and Cranberry Open Tart, vegan Root Vegetable Tarte Tatin, vegan mince pies and many more. The shift to include plant-based options in the menu was a step taken by the company to satisfy the growing number of consumers that are on flexitarian or vegetarian diets.

IKEA also revealed that 50 percent of the hot meals in its menu are either vegan or vegetarian.
