Ecostore has won the Long-Term Innovation Excellence award at Idealog's Most Innovative Companies 2018 prize giving. The award highlighted the business's commitment to making a difference both for New Zealanders and the planet. Idealog specifically mentioned Ecostore’s sugar plastic packaging solution aimed to help climate change.
To date Ecostore has helped save close to 6,000 tonnes of carbon from being released into the atmosphere, and they will continue to invest in the use of sugarcane plastic.
