Hansang Trading Limited has recalled specific batches of its Lotte brand Almond Pepero due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut) and its Lotte brand White Cookie Pepero due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (tree nut (almond)).
Customers are asked to check the date marking on the packaging, as the Lotte brand Almond Pepero has a use-by date of the 14th of May, 2024, and the recalled Lotte brand White Cookie Pepero has a use-by date of the 13th of May, 2024.
Those with a peanut and/or tree nut (almond)) allergy should not consume these products. Individuals who have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about their health are encouraged to seek medical advice.
This recall does not affect those not allergic to peanuts or the tree-nut, almonds.
Customers with a peanut or tree nut (almond)) allergy can return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
