Countdown has recalled specific batches of its Woolworths brand Pickled Onions as the product may contain foreign matter (glass).
Sold in a 500g glass jar, the Woolworths brand Pickled Onions with the following best-before dates has been recalled, including the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of November 2024.
Customers are asked to check the date mark on the jar and are discouraged from consuming the product. While there have been no reports of associated injury, New Zealand Food Safety noted that if the product had been consumed and individuals were concerned for their health, they are encouraged to seek medical advice.
Customers can also return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
