Auckland-based Hexagon Holdings has acquired Trans-Tasman label converter Hally Group, with subsidiaries Hally Labels (Brisbane, Christchurch, Auckland), AC Labels (Sydney) and Mark-It Labels (Christchurch). The businesses will continue to trade independently.
Established in 1965, the Hally Group has been operating in several different sectors, such as fresh food, beverage, manufacturing, shelf-stable food, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and horticulture.
On its part, Hexagon Holdings operates in diverse markets, including FMGC, thermal, wine, laser and pharmacy. The company already owns three Kiwi label businesses; Rapid Labels, Panprint and Kiwi Labels.
“It has been a wonderful 50-year chapter for our family,” said Grant Hally, Chairman of the Hally Group, who inherited the company from his parents, Ian and Pam Hally. “We’re pleased to see the businesses joining a group of established and successful industry participants.”
