AUSTRALIA | Cadbury has once again teamed up with famed chef Curtis Stone to introduce its latest Key Lime Pie flavour.
In a move that is sure to steal the limelight, Michelin-star chef Curtis Stone is delighted to announce he will once again be teaming up with Cadbury Australia to release a special-edition chocolate block Cadbury Dairy Milk Vanilla Key Lime Pie, that is set to be a cut above the crust for Aussies, available from the end of May.
Inspired by Stone’s Key Lime Pie made famous at his popular L.A. restaurant Gwen, Stone's latest collaboration comes as an ode to his time in the United States. Featuring a smooth vanilla and lime-flavoured creme with choc biscuit piece, covered in Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate, Stone’s zesty creation will have Aussie dessert enthusiasts vying for a taste.
To celebrate the release of the special-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Vanilla Key Lime Pie block, Cadbury and Curtis Stone will be recreating Curtis' iconic L.A. store The Pie Room by Gwen. Open for one day only, Sydneysiders can visit the pop-up at MECCA Café in Alexandria on Friday 24 May for free samples of the block, the chance to see Curtis himself, and try The Pie Room's famous Key Lime Pie.
“I was introduced to Key Limes in the United States. I love their sweet and tangy taste. My customers agree because it became one of their favourites when I started making and selling my Key Lime Pie recipe at my bakery, The Pie Room by Gwen in LA,” said Stone.
