ARTISAN FOOD REACHES CITY LIMITS

Auckland’s artisan food producers will gather at music festival Auckland City Limits this Saturday, serving up their best products in a special zone called ‘Auckland on the Menu’.
The zone will include two stalls. In the first one, Auckland urban farmers’ market and kitchen Scarecrow will offer a selection of chocolate, spreads, olive oils, chutneys and designer teas, all of which will be available to sample. The second, carnival-themed stall has been specially designed for kids and will sell popcorn, waffles, gluten free treats and iced biscuits.
'Auckland on the Menu' is presented by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED).
“Auckland and our surrounding regions are well-known for top quality food and beverages, and an innovative approach to production, and these will all be on show alongside the top quality line up of Auckland City Limits,” said Patrick McVeigh, general manager business, innovation and skills, ATEED.
