Around 1pm on Wednesday, a brawl involving a Kerikeri High School student and five young women broke out on school grounds and soon moved to a nearby New World store. Police were called on scene by numerous witnesses, and the assaulted girl received the necessary medical treatment. Darren Tucker, Kerikeri NW owner-operator, said the incident was taken care of quickly and staff made sure that nobody got hurt.
