Only a few weeks are left before the Materials Handling & Logistic Show kicks off, running alongside Foodtech Packtech. With over 220 exhibiting companies and thousands of industry attendees being expected, the show promises to be this year’s largest combined trade-only industry event and a unique opportunity to take stock of the latest technologies, product launches and packaging innovations across food and beverage manufacturing.
The three-day show will be held at ASB Showgrounds from 11 to 13 October 2016 and, according to organisers XPO Exhibitions, the alignment between MHL and FTPT is set to broaden the event’s reach.
“MHL is under new management and back alongside FTPT where it all began more than ten years ago,” said Tony Waite, events director of XPO. “The materials handling and logistics side of things completes our ‘New Zealand pasture (or sea) to plate’ capability story, which is so important to realise our export market potential.”
Having MHL onboard, XPO will also be able to cross reference their database of close to 300,000 industry professionals registered for other successful trade shows they run, to include general engineering and manufacturing, homewares importers, retailers and the construction sector.
Over the past few years, FTPT has enjoyed substantial growth, going hand in hand with the food manufacturing industry’s high growth rates.
A full schedule of VIP networking events, show features, seminars and visitor prizes, all of which free to attend, will be released on www.mhlexpo.co.nz or www.foodtechpacktech.co.nz.
