RELIABLE SERVICE TOOK GOLD

An independent survey has once again awarded Foodstuffs at the Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards 2016, as over 1,500 New Zealanders took part in an online questionnaire, rating companies on their ability to deliver a reliable service and meet customers’ expectations.

Vying in the supermarket category, the company won gold for New World and silver for Pak’nSave. Steve Anderson, managing director, Foodstuffs New Zealand, praised the team’s constant effort to ensure a first-class experience in-store.
“Our stores are committed to putting our customers’ needs first. We pride ourselves on having fantastic staff with the knowledge, passion and expertise in food to ensure we are meeting all the needs of our customers,” said Anderson.

“The New World team has been working hard to ensure they feel welcome and enjoy their shopping experience. This award is direct recognition from our customers that we are meeting, and hopefully exceeding, their expectations on a daily basis,” said Anderson, adding that shoppers also appreciate the can-do attitude of their Pak’nSave staff.
