The Grin 21-Day Brushing Challenge, in partnership with Chemist Warehouse, is back and launched in schools and stores throughout New Zealand.
School children across the country will receive a Free Grin Bamboo Toothbrush alongside their 21-Day Brushing Challenge Chart, which includes stickers for the child and their parents. Those outside participating schools can receive a Free 21-Day Brushing Challenge Chart with any Grin purchase at Chemist Warehouse Stores.
This challenge is designed to support parents during those challenging bedtime battles. Kids are rewarded with a sticker every morning and night for 21 days after they brush their teeth.
Ensuring children set healthy oral care routines from a young age is crucial in setting them up for great oral health in the future. It concerns us that over 40 percent of Kiwi kids under five years suffer from tooth decay. It’s also the number one reason Kiwi kids are admitted into hospitals here in New Zealand. This is a preventable issue that, with knowledge and accessibility to the right resources, can be solved.
This 21-Day Brushing Challenge is fun and engaging to get children excited about brushing their teeth while providing parents with the education and knowledge to support their child’s oral health. Schools will receive educational resources and prizes to share with their community which have been collated with the help of dentists and hygienists.
