CONSTRUCTION has now started on the giant supermarket, retail, office and residential complex known as Vinegar Lane in Auckland’s central Ponsonby. The base of the complex is a Countdown supermarket topped by three levels of office space and there will also be 10 retail outlets and five levels of underground car parking. Estimated completion date of the project is mid 2016.
