Nestlé is encouraging consumers to consume more plant-based alternatives. Although meatless meats are a growing trend in the US, Nestlé found that more than half of Americans have not tried plant-based options to animal protein.

The brand is launching a Digiorno Rising Crust Meatless Supreme and Stouffer’s Meatless Lasagna on Amazon Fresh. Both products are made from pea protein, coconut oil and methylcellulose.

“Digiorno Rising Crust Pizza and Stouffer’s Lasagna are two of America’s favourite brands and two of our best-selling products, so this is a great opportunity to raise awareness,” said R&D specialist, Ryan Riddle.
