New World Clubcard has been voted the Gold Winner in the Loyalty Cards category of the 2020 Quality Service Awards run by Reader’s Digest.  This is the second year in a row New World Clubcard has won this award.

“It’s great that New Zealand consumers have again recognised New World Clubcard in terms of the experience including personalisation, understanding, simplicity and overall satisfaction” said Nicky Ward, head of loyalty and CLM, Foodstuffs (NZ) Ltd. “This is the second year in a row for Clubcard taking out this honour and we are delighted to be recognised by our customers.”

A third party conducted a survey to a representative sample of 1,500 New Zealand adults, who ranked New World Clubcard #1  based on the below 4 experiences. AA Smartfuel was our next closest competitor with a Silver Award.

  • Personalisation: How well was the company able to provide the consumer with an individualised customer experience?
  • Understanding: How effectively was the company able to demonstrate a genuine insight into the customer’s needs?
  • Simplicity: How quick and easy was the process of dealing with the company?
  • Satisfaction: To what level did the company meet or exceed the customer’s expectations?
