The rural Parakai supermarket won’t be selling fireworks this Guy Fawkes in an effort to spare scared animals. The FourSquare has received positive feedback for its decision to with owner Daniel Dale mentioning that the community had been supportive of the decision. Over the weekend South Island firefighters battled two fires in Christchurch and Timaru thought to be caused by fireworks.
