ENTRIES for the NZ Food Awards are now open with this year’s awards format changed to feature three distinct segments – small manufacturers, large manufacturers and special. Small manufacturers have three awards open to them – convenience, gourmet and indulgent – while large manufacturers can enter products into beverages, dry, deli, frozen or chilled/short shelf life award categories. The special award segment caters for innovations from ingredient supply companies and primary producers and features six award categories including export innovation, business innovation and new cultivars/primary producers. Entries close 25th July.
