Ollivers Holdings Limited is recalling a specific batch of Belazu brand Vegan Basil Pesto due to the presence of an undeclared allergen tree nut (pine nut).
The recalled batch has the best-before date of 05/05/2025. Sold in a 165g glass jar, an imported product from the UK, sold at select retail stores throughout New Zealand and online. The recall of this particular product does not affect any other Belazu products.
Retailers of the product in this recall must download a copy of the point of sale notice and display it in-store for one month.
Consumers with a tree nut (pine nut) allergy should not consume this product. For any who consumed any of these products and are concerned about their health, seek medical advice. For those who are not allergic to tree nuts (pine nuts), this recall does not affect you.
Customers with a tree nut (pine nut) allergy should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
