KIWI icon Rachel Hunter was in Auckland yesterday to launch Vogel’s Toast of NZ Café. The nation’s top 12 innovative consumer recipes using Vogel’s are on the menu at Vogel’s Toast of NZ Café which will tour Wellington, Tauranga, Christchurch and six other towns and cities. The recipes are divided into four categories – breakfast, lunch, dessert and ‘to share’ – with Hunter selecting The Big Hug (a pear and camembert bake) as her favourite.
“I am a big Vogel’s fan so I am thrilled to be able to come home for the launch of the Vogel’s Toast of NZ Café Tour. I can’t get Vogel’s that readily in LA, but when I do find it available I stock up – it really is one of those tastes of home. The masterpiece recipes that Kiwis have come up with are incredible and absolutely mouth-watering,” says Hunter.
