Pure New Zealand Ice Cream Ltd has recalled a specific batch of its Pure New Zealand Ice Cream brand Artisan Boysenberry Gelato due to an undeclared allergen (egg), sold in 110ml plastic tubs.

Pure New Zealand Ice Cream brand Artisan Vanilla Bean Ice Cream has been incorrectly packaged as Pure New Zealand Ice Cream brand Artisan Boysenberry Gelato.

Customers are asked to check the batch number, the recalled batch being 062314, with the best before June 2024. The product can be returned to the retailer of purchase for a full refund.

The product is sold at Dominos, New World, Raewood Fresh, Bidfood and selected retail outlets throughout New Zealand.

Retailers who have the product of this recall will need to download a copy of the point of sale notice and display it in the store for one month. This notice can be found here.

People with an egg allergy should not consume the affected product. Customers who consume this product and are concerned about their health are encouraged to seek medical advice.
