A Denver-based company has presented the latest must-have for spoiled cats: cat wine. If this sounds like a good idea to you (and we secretly hope it doesn’t), you might want to hear the rest of the story.
Apollo Peak looks like wine, is alcohol-free and comes in both red and white varieties, called MosCATo and Pinot Meow . “We know cats shouldn’t have alcohol, so we’ve designed a safe alternative to feeding them your ‘real’ wine,” the company wrote on its website, adding that the drink contains all-natural ingredients such as organic catnip and beets, locally sourced from farmers and shops. Available at select stores in Colorado and online, the product is veterinarian-approved.
