Innovative Nutrition Solutions New Zealand Limited has recalled specific batches of its Snack Switch brand Plant Protein Bars (various flavours) due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (milk).
The products are sold in 60g plastic packaging and were imported from Australia. The products have not been re-exported.
The affected products are sold at selected supplement stores, gyms, and online retailers throughout New Zealand.
This recall does not affect any other Snack Switch brand products.
If you are a retailer of the products in this recall, download a copy of the point of sale notice. You need to display it in your store for one month.
Customers are asked to check the date marking on the products.
People with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume these products. If you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. If you are not allergic or intolerant to milk, this recall does not affect you.
Customers with a milk allergy or intolerance should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
