SnowFox has partnered with nonprofit FishChoice, to offer grocers sustainable sushi. The brands want to ensure its seafood meets the sustainability requirements for its Costco, Albertsons and Kroger retailers.

SnowFox supplies to over 4,000 locations in the USA, UK and Canada. FishChoice is based in Colorado and offers a free database with seafood sourcing details for over 500 species of seafood. SnowFox aims to use the database to source the most sustainable seafood.

Seafood, in particularly sushi, is a big sales driver for grocery retailers. In response to the growing concern over how aquaculture impacts ocean health, retailers are choosing the path of sustainable seafood.

This partnership allows SnowFox to avoid fish fraud which means the company can focus on strengthening its clientele.
