Rumour has it that international ice cream company Froneri is close to closing a deal to buy Tip Top. While Tip Top is not confirming the news, it is rumoured that Froneri is in “late-stage talks” to purchase the New Zealand ice cream brand. Froneri is the world’s second largest ice cream company, operating in more than 20 different countries. The company is a joint venture owned by Nestle and R&R ice cream.

The deal is said to be worth $375 million.
