Walmart Streamlines InHome Delivery

Walmart Streamlines its InHome Delivery service

Walmart announced its InHome Delivery service will now fall under the Walmart+ umbrella. Previously, the InHome service was a standalone membership from Walmart+, but customers will now have access to a streamlined experience.

With InHome, Walmart customers order groceries online that can be delivered to their door, garage or fridge. Alongside being streamlined into the Walmart+ membership program, InHome is being launched in seven new cities - nearly doubling the locations of its current availability. New locations include Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Dallas, Austin, San Jose and San Francisco.

“InHome has one of the highest customer experience ratings in the business, and now we’ve made it even easier to access in even more locations as we grow to reach over 30 million households by the end of the year.” Said Whitney Pegden, Vice President and General Manager of InHome.

A Walmart+ membership with unlimited fee-free and tip-free InHome delivery is US$138 annually.

Walmart's eCommerce sales grew 38 percent over the last two years, and the company continues investing in the delivery sphere.
