New World Willis Street in Wellington will undergo an upgrade, Foodstuffs announced. Both the inside and the outside of the store will be enhanced, with a new entranceway, new refrigeration, an increased fresh food offer and a new deli counter, as well as two additional checkouts.
Work will begin in January 2016 and should take five to six months, during which the supermarket will continue operating.
“We can’t wait for our customers to see the finished product, so that we can offer an even better store and an improved shopping experience,” said owner-operator Richard Taggart.
