Woolworths New Zealand has announced the launch of the new ‘Disney Worlds of Wonder’ Collector Cards.
Available from the 7th of August until the 22nd of September, ‘Disney Worlds of Wonder’ collectible cards span four iconic worlds and feature characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, including fan favourites like Simba, Joy, Spider-Man, and Darth Vader.
There are 108 cards to collect, including a rare Disneyland Resort-themed holographic card featuring the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle. Only a few cards will be circulated across Australia and New Zealand.
Woolworths New Zealand’s Director of Brand, Bríd Drohan-Stewart, said they were excited for customers to add a bit of extra magic to their weekly grocery shop.
“We’re thrilled to share the ‘Disney Worlds of Wonder’ collectible cards with our customers for the first time - with a universe to suit every fan,” said Drohan-Stewart.
“We know Kiwis of all ages love Disney, and ‘Disney Worlds of Wonder’ allows customers to pick up a little bit of that special magic just by doing their usual shop.”
Tim Everett, Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Products Commercialisation at The Walt Disney Company Australia & New Zealand, said the launch of the Disney 'Worlds of Wonder' collector cards explored the wonderful and immersive worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars and would give Kiwis a deeper connection to Disney’s much-loved characters, stories and worlds.
Customers will receive one free collectible pack containing three double-sided cards for every $30 they spend in-store or online. A collector album has been made available for purchase in-store and online. All collector albums also come with four cards to start the collection.
Customers can get an additional pack of cards when purchasing a range of participating products, but the bonus packs per participating brand per shop are limited to three.
