AUSTRALIA | Woolworths has partnered with Pistachio Papi once again, dropping a limited-edition Pistachio Papi Cake exclusively in stores across Australia.
Bringing the viral spread to supermarket shelves in a whole new format, the layered dessert pairs fluffy sponge cake with rich pistachio spread, cream cheese icing and whipped cream piping, finished with crushed nuts.
“We’ve done some incredible collaborations and launched plenty of products over the years, but a Pistachio Papi cake available to the masses is something we haven’t done before," said Pistachio Papi founder Mark Abdelmalik.
“Woolworths is known for its delicious cakes, and this one has delivered exactly how you’d expect Papi to be - indulgent, delicious, and a serious pistachio hit. I have no doubt Aussies are going to love it, so I don’t expect it to stay on shelves for long.”
Woolworths Bakery Category Manager Colin Wise added that customers love viral food trends, especially in the Woolworths bakery, and that this collaboration with Pistachio Papi was easily one of the most exciting drops yet.

The Pistachio Papi cake is available exclusively at Woolworths Supermarkets and Metro stores from the 26th of October while stocks last.
