Fi Asia Returns To Indonesia

Fi Asia

Southeast Asia’s largest food industry gathering, Fi Asia, has become a hub for companies looking to connect with investors, business partners, customers and suppliers, and those with ambitions to enter the burgeoning ASEAN market.

F&B professionals interested in the Southeast Asian market have been invited to register to attend this year’s Fi Asia, which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, this September.

This year’s edition has combined a show floor populated by over 400 exhibitors with three days of curated conference content, exhibitor tours and technical seminars.

ASEAN recognised as one of the significant emerging markets for food ingredients, and Fi Asia have brought together the innovation unfolding in factories and labs across the region.

Exhibitors will present the latest advancements in dairy replacement, emulsifiers, flavours, proteins, functional ingredients, inspiring ingredient selection, and finished product innovation.

Snacks and beverages are two of the most dynamic categories in the Southeast Asian market, so this year’s show will feature zones dedicated to NPD in these areas.

The Snack Bar has curated innovation in the Indonesian snack market and the healthy snacking space, whilst the Bev Hub will showcase trendsetting beverage products and the cutting-edge ingredient solutions behind them.

Nutrimarketing will offer guided innovation tours for visitors who want to dive deep into innovation. The Innovation Zone, powered by Innova Market Insights, will be another platform for introducing up-and-coming ingredients.

The event's content and organisation will reflect the growing importance of sustainability as an industry challenge. At the Sustainability Square, attendees can see how these pledges translate into action, for example, by driving sustainable processes in the industry and supporting the local community.

“Right now, Southeast Asia is one of the world’s most dynamic growth zones for food ingredients, which heralds huge opportunities for food & beverage manufacturers to push the boundaries of product development,” said Rose Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director - ASEAN, Informa Markets.

“However, it is also a fragmented market facing many infrastructure, sustainability, and investment challenges. We have set out to design a forum that facilitates supply chain interaction and equips companies with the knowledge, support and connections they need to realise the potential this market offers. We look forward to seeing how exhibitors and visitors leverage Fi Asia's resources and touchpoints.”
