ALDI Australia has brought its Good Different shopping experience to Andergrove, Mackay. This is the first ALDI store in the region and offers the local community an exclusive range of high-quality products at low prices.
The spacious location features an 1186 sqm custom-designed storefront and a range of innovations, including self-checkouts, a modern interior design, and a simple layout so customers can easily navigate the savings on offer.
Customers will also have access to 134 parking spaces, 49 of which are covered. The store will be packed with award-winning fresh produce delivered daily, 100 percent Australian meat, and iconic Specials Buys.
“We know the passion Mackay locals have for ALDI and how much they’ve been looking forward to ALDI bringing Australia’s lowest-priced groceries to the region,” said Bronwyn Post, Managing Director, Queensland, ALDI Australia.

Many customers visiting ALDI Mackay for the first time will notice minor differences, such as a curated range of exclusive brands, streamlined operations, and coin-deposit trolleys.
These differences cut unnecessary costs, and in 2023 alone, ALDI shoppers saved $3.4 billion on their grocery bills.
At the same time, the Price Promise has remained the same since the first store was opened over two decades ago.
ALDI’s shopping expert, Kylie Warnke, has curated a list of “must-try” products that new ALDI customers should try.
These include the Di San Pre Wash Stain Remover, Urban Eats Soup Dumplings, Jindurra Station Porterhouse Steak, Emporium Selection Triple Cream Brie, Lazzio Coffee Dark Beans, and Moser Roth Dark 70% Chocolate Block.
