UK | Christmas has arrived early at Aldi with a range of mince pies available in stores this month.
The Christmas countdown has officially begun as supermarket Aldi has announced the first selection of its highly anticipated mince pie range will return to stores from 21st September for as little as 22p per pie.
To kickstart the festive season, and headlining the award-winning range, is a new Pistachio & Whisky flavour, perfect for those who have gone nuts for the flavour of the year.
Leading the supermarket’s ‘Own Label Range of the Year’ is the new Specially Selected The Ultimate Mini Mince Pie Selection. This delicious pack allows shoppers to indulge and share the festive spirit with a choice of three tempting mini flavours — Pistachio & Whisky, Frangipane, and Chocolate & Hazelnut.
For those with dietary considerations, Aldi has also introduced its new Free From Mince Pies. These sweet, gluten-free alternatives feature shortcrust pastry cases filled with mincemeat, topped with a pastry lid and a light dusting of sugar.
Aldi’s Specially Selected The Ultimate Mince Pies are back by popular demand. Also promising to be better than ever are the Specially Selected All Butter Mince Pies, having achieved Good Housekeeping accreditation last year, and Specially Selected Mini Mince Pies are set to make a welcome return, the perfect bite-sized treat.
For those who like to keep it classic, Aldi has brought back its cult favourite, Perfect Christmas Deep-Filled Mince Pies.
Aldi’s Perfect Christmas Mince Pie rounds off Aldi’s popular festive offering with two buttery versions, Iced Mince Pies and Puff Pastry Mince Pies, filled with delicious mincemeat and scattered with sugar.
All the above mince pies will land in store from the 21st of September. The rest of Aldi’s picture-perfect mince pie range will land in stores from the 2nd of November.
