AUSTRALIA | Drakes has announced its outstanding success at the 2024 South Australian Dairy Awards Gala Dinner.
The 2024 South Australian Dairy Awards Gala Dinner was held at Adelaide Oval. Drakes La Gelateria gelato secured multiple awards, including Judges Choice, Most Outstanding, and Champion Frozen Dairy, making it the first gelato offered by a South Australian supermarket to achieve such prestigious recognition.
Presented by the Dairy Industry Association of Australia and Real Dairy Australia, this year’s South Australian Dairy Awards acknowledged excellence, quality and innovation across more than 30 competition classes, including cheese, yoghurt, and fresh and frozen dairy.
La Gelateria Autentica offers authentic Italian gelato flavours made fresh in-store at Drakes Fulham Gardens, using dairy from local South Australian producers.

Drakes La Gelateria award-winning gelato is available in 750ml take-home tubs in the freezer aisle at all South Australian stores, excluding minis, and in-store Gelato Bar at Drakes Fulham Gardens.
