New Cold Brew For Coffee Lovers

A major global coffee brand has launched a new cold brew coffee product to cater to 15 percent of consumers worldwide that prefer their coffee at home over ice.

Nestle's coffee brand, Nescafé, is launching its Ice Roast product. As a first of its kind for the brands, the soluble coffee has been designed specifically for consumption with cold water or milk over ice.  

The new product will launch in China this April, with Mexico following behind. 

Nescafé's research and development team crafted the product, beginning with 100 percent Robusta coffee beans, grown and produced sustainably, using unique roasting techniques to create a profile of a lightly roasted soluble coffee without harsh or bitter notes.

"Cold coffee is hot, with a new generation of coffee drinkers entering the category through the cold. We're excited by this launch because Ice Roast allows them to enjoy an even better cup of cold coffee at home and recreate their favourite drinks," stated Donald Howat, Global Category Lead for Nescafé.
